rates and insurance
My fee is $180 for a 50 minute session. There is $5 discount if you pay via cash, check or Zelle*. Payment is due at the beginning of each session.
I am not an In-Network Provider for any insurance plan. If you have PPO insurance, they will have a provision for Out-of-Network Providers. If requested, I can provide you with a superbill that you will submit to your insurance company. At the time of our session, payment in full is required at the beginning of the session and I can provide you with the superbill. Then you will submit the superbill to your insurance company and they will reimburse you directly. To find out how much your specific insurance policy will reimburse per session, please contact your insurance company by calling the 800 number on the back of your insurance card and asking them the following questions:
* Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
* What is my deductible and has it been met?
* How many sessions per year does my insurance cover for outpatient mental health services?
* What is the reimbursement rate per session for Out-of-Network mental health services?
Cash, check, Zelle* and all major credit cards accepted for payment.
I have a Square device and can take your credit/debit card payment upon arrival for your session. If you would like to take advantage of the $5 discount and don't have cash available or your checkbook on you, you can also send me (before the start of our session) your payment of $175 via Zelle* to: [email protected]
I also have the ability to send Square invoices. This would be practical for situations where someone other than the person coming into my office is providing the payment for the services. If this is the case, just provide me with your email address and I can send the invoice directly to you before each session.
A cancelled appointment delays our work. I consider our meetings very important and ask you to do the same. If you must cancel, please give me at least 24 hours notice. I am rarely able to fill a cancelled session unless I know at least 24 hours in advance. If you are unable to provide at least 24 hours notice when you cancel, you will be charged the full fee for your session. Please be advised that your insurance company will not reimburse for a late cancellation or missed session.
